An award-winning Latin & Jazz performer and composer, Rumi holds a Master's degree in Afro-Latin Music, and a diploma in classical flute from Vienna's U. of Music and Performing Arts where she studied with Dr. Werner Tripp.
Jazz teachers include Holly Hofmann, Shinpei Inoue, and Bruce Forman.
Rumi's original compositions express the culmination of her diverse styles and training.
